Daniel Kalchev graduated from the Technical University of Varna, Bulgaria, in 1990. In 1989 he founded the Digital Systems company.

Started the Internet network in Bulgaria in 1989, the Bulgarian ccTLD registry in 1991 and has been taking care of these ever since.
