She has been an Internet activist since 2012 who collaborated with a number of organisations working on subjects such as Internet Governance, children online safety, hate speech and women’s rights. While working at the One World Platform organisation she led the Internet Rights program and she managed various projects including coordinating the organisation of remote participation to European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG) for Bosnia Herzegovina in collaboration with the Council of Europe.

Since 2012 she participates in global Internet Governance Forums (Baku 2012, Bali 2013, Istanbul 2014 and Joao Pessoa 2015). She is co-author of the Giswatch BiH country report 2014 on surveillance. On national level she coordinated Take Back The Tech campaign, “End violence: Women Rights and Safety online” and Local Actions to Secure Internet Rights (LASIR) projects. Aida is Diplo Foundation alumni.

Since 2014 she is also a member of the Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group of the UN Internet Governance Forum and she leads the organisation of the first Internet Governance Forum of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2015. She is a member of SEEDIG Executive Committee for 2015 and 2016.
